Technology

Designed around the parameters most frequently required by engineering teams — from plant substations to utility feeders and renewable interconnections.

HVP™ Power Transformer Platform

HVPTTM Product Range

Our power transformer platform is engineered for industrial, utility, renewable, transportation and traction applications requiring dependable medium- and high-voltage performance.

Designed as a configurable three-phase system, it supports multiple winding arrangements, wide voltage flexibility and a broad MVA range to meet diverse North American grid requirements. Available in two-winding, three-winding and split-LV configurations, it accommodates both natural and forced cooling systems — air or oil circulation — depending on ambient and operational conditions.

High-voltage options range from 35 kV to 150 kV, while low-voltage configurations support up to three selectable levels up to 35 kV. With impedance ranges from 4% to 16% and both off-load (DETC) and on-load tap changer (OLTC/OTLC) options, the transformer provides precise voltage control, optimized fault performance and strong short-circuit withstand.

Optional monitoring packages and a full set of health sensors enable continuous diagnostics and remote visibility, improving reliability and reducing maintenance risk. Built to customer specifications and aligned with ANSI / IEEE Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements, the platform supports better reactive power management, stable long-term operation and lower lifecycle asset costs.
